Canine Good Citizen (CGC) Workshops, 3 Thursdays in November

Frolick is pleased to host a hands-on Canine Good Citizen workshop with owner Kevin Gilliam -- long-time obedience trainer and certified AKC evaluator -- to go over the different elements of the test, review the skills required and provide ample time for practice and critique.

Why should your dog take the CGC test?
- The CGC rewards well-mannered dogs and responsible pet ownership; dogs that pass the 10-step CGC test are eligible to receive a title from the AKC.
- The CGC lays the foundation for other activities such as advanced obedience, agility, and tracking, and is often a prerequisite for therapy work.
- Dogs that have a solid obedience foundation are a joy to live with!

These workshops will be held Thursdays Nov 7, 14 & 21 from 7-8:30pm at Frolick Dogs at a cost of $20/workshop. You are welcome to drop into one, two or all three workshops, no pre-registration required.

Note: Your dog should have already completed obedience training; puppies must be 6 months or older and have received all vaccinations. This is not a formal class but rather an opportunity for you and your dog to practice in a performance setting and receive tips on how to prepare to pass the CGC test successfully.
