Paws in the Park (formerly Alexandria Love Your Pet Day) returns this October with more vendors, more entertainment, more dining options and, of course, more adoptable animals! From 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Oct. 16, Paws in the Park will be THE place to be for attendees of all ages and their well-behaved, leashed four-legged friends.

The main stage line-up, generously sponsored by the Alexandria Library Foundation, will provide hours of entertainment for the youngest of audience members, as well as those who are young at heart.
11:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. Uno Dos Tres Andrés
12:45 to 1:30 p.m. Groovy Nate
2:00 to 2:45 p.m. Classic/Modern pop and rock by Justin Paschalides
3:15 to 3:55 p.m. Bill Cabrera and Company
PLUS at 1:35 p.m., join us at the mainstage circle in the center of Oronoco Bay Park for a Paw Parade featuring adoptable animals from across Rescue Row!

Paws in the Park offers a wide variety of food and beverages, including several local alcoholic beverage vendors. Enjoy a bite to eat from from Ana’s Twist, The Big Cheese and A.M. Kettle, as well as beer from Port City Brewing Company, cider from Lost Boy Cider, wine from Woodlawn Press Winery and hot and iced coffee from Sip Coffee Inc.
So bring the whole family, including pets, and plan for a day of music, dining, local artisans, animal-themed businesses and adoptable animals from a variety of local shelters and rescues. Proceeds benefit animals across the community through the Animal Welfare League of Alexandria, so
